Tobala Rusty 375 mL – Gaudencio
*NOTE* – this product contains elements from the laminated condensor that turn the mezcal yellow. This is how people from San Bernardo Mixtepec prefer their mezcal. If it isn’t yellow, it isn’t the good artisanal stuff! *

You might have seen some discussions in our private facebook group in the past about San Bernardo Mixtepec and their unique yellow mezcal. Alvin and I went out there for a day and sampled several batches from 5 different producers. I found this one to be the best and one of the only ones fermented in clay.
This offer is exclusive to club members and we only bottled 20! It makes for a great collectors item. We priced it extremely low as a partial gift to our most die hard collectors willing to take a risk.
It's fermented in half burried clay pots and then distilled in clay with laminated condensors leaving behind yellow particles in the final product which has been filtered twice. People from this town always prefer to drink the yellow juice because that's how they know it is truly artisanal. Can't wait to hear a wider range of feedback. I know a few club members that LOVE this product and I know some others that prefer their mezcal without rust 😉
