Antonio Carlos Martínez Known locally as Conejo, this third generation mezcalero from Minas is the first in his family to own his own palenque. Over the last three years, his palenque grew from one tina to four paralleling his local popularity in the mezcal space. To his knowledge, his product has never made it north of the border by means other than a suitcase until now. He is known in Oaxaca centro as a fun, light hearted, welcoming mezcalero who offers an unforgettable tasting room experience. It’s very apparent that he is extremely connected to his community, his workers, his family, and his faith as you will see in the videos below.
